FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will repairs take?
Avondale's team will ensure your experience is professionally managed from drop-off to delivery. We'll provide an accurate repair time estimate, though delays may occur due to insurance, parts availability, damage extent, or high claim volume. You can track your vehicle at any time through the Track My Vehicle page.

What happens if a part is on back order?
With our nationwide parts network, delays are rare. If a part is backordered due to availability or production, we'll source it from other retailers. For rare items, we can order directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer to restart production.

Does Avondale Collision Center offer lifetime warranty?
Yes, we proudly provide a lifetime warranty on paint and workmanship for all vehicles we repair.

Why are supplemental repairs needed after an estimate is complete?
In order to obtain approval from the insurance company on an estimate, we must preserve the vehicle in the state in which it arrived at our facility. After approval, our technicians begin to disassemble the vehicle. At this point, it's likely that we'll find additional damage to parts not visible during the initial estimate. We must then schedule another estimate review with the insurance company to obtain further approval before proceeding. Depending on the depth of the damage, this process may need to be repeated several times.

Why do estimate prices vary between repair facilities?
There are a few reasons for this. Not all body shops use factory-certified parts, which is crucial for luxury vehicles to avoid voiding manufacturer warranties. Additionally, our shop is certified to work on your vehicle because we provide our technicians with factory-approved tools, equipment, and training. While this comes with additional costs, we believe in maintaining the highest standards. If you have any questions about the estimate or repair, feel free to ask your estimator - they're here to help.
